On the positive news I now inform you of the upcoming (late winter probably) a children's book illustrated by me entitled AO little Neanderthal , Editions Milan. Written by Claire
Troilo, this book for children (6-8 years) is a beautiful adaptation of the novel by Marc Klapczynski Ao old man. I do not betray a secret is revealed that Claire's partner Marco!
As you probably already know, Marc's novel was adapted into a film by Jacques Malaterre and film (AO the last Neanderthal ) due out in theaters next spring. It is likely to wait out the forward (and a hint of anxiety as well, as often adaptations of novels we liked).
Personally, I preferred to remain totally independent of the look of the film to make my illustrations, in watercolor and pen and ink with colored pencil hightlights.
We will come back soon probably when I'll show you the cover, in progress. In the meantime, here are some illustrations from the album.
Well, apart from that Saturday I attended the last autograph session of the season, "home" since dare I say it will be at the bookstore Narbonne BD & Co. ( I'm going to find, actually).
